Re: International Transfer Card

Dude, yes I think so but can't be sure so wouldn't like to tell the world, however home nations foregoing their respective share might be a little to do with it....the fact that people still have to ask is worrying tho.....

Re: International Transfer Card

Rab, actually the price is very 'reasonable' considering what you can end up paying in say Canada.....believe me this is a lot cheaper.....still seems like a daft way to encourage people into a sport, simply because the North Americans we have had here have all added to the team not just as players ...

Re: Ladies EIHA AGM/Section meeting 13th June 2010

I doubt you'll see official minutes for a while, I take my own notes at the AGM and womens section, what were you interested in? As for Coventry girls U16, we are looking at sorting something but ice is diffcult to get in Coventry, so we may be looking at getting something together with our near nei...

Re: International Transfer Card

As the silence has been deafening...and the IIHF can do exactly what it likes regardless of the needs of the game, they will impose this violation of every persons rights to play. And wait and see how long it takes until they hit the rec teams...and anyone else who JUST wants to play hockey. Interes...

Re: International Transfer Card

Lots of ideas and thoughts, isn't the biggest concern that we have heard nothing official from the EIHA or IHUK regarding this farce since the announcement. We have about two weeks till the AGM where I'm sure we will be told one way or the other, but you do have to question why its taking so long to...

Re: International Transfer Card

I believe ITC are applicable to IIHF regulated championships, so I don't think they do, they dont have leagues and they are affiliated to EIHA but I dont know their relationship with IHUK

Re: International Transfer Card

The way I understood it was 500 home association, 300 ITC, and 100 for the fax.....nothing to the 'new' association.
Guess we'll have to wait for some sort of formal update....soon please as we are all trying to sort out where we will be next year

Re: Is there any playoff news since Cardiff withdrew?

Just picked up the schedule and it shows the Cardiff vs MK game as now a BYE for MK with the Cardiff withdrawl. Have to say when a team like Cardiff, who have travelled all season despite really low numbers, say's no there must be a good reason. E-mail from EIHA also stated that all teams need repre...

Re: "Results" this weekend!

The weather was an obvious reason for lost/delayed however so many lost games in the end can't be good, we could have had a team going to Play Offs as the lowest placed having played more games and given up more goals and therefore being last placed on a technicality....I know it would be a rarity b...

Re: Women’s hockey this weekend 8th/9th May

Coventry 12 - Oxford Uni 4 good game and a huge well done to Uni for a spirited never say die approach, well done to you all for sticking to it. Went to the Slough game on Thursday and I have to agree the Pandas were pretty awesome, great play all round which comes from lots of training and a good k...

Re: Womens D1 the future?

Just to mention if any clubs wish to make proposals these have to be in by 10th May, proposals need to be seconded by another club and an e-mail provided to support the proposal.

Re: Womens D1 the future?

Its not necassarily bad or indeed boring for teams to play each other 4 times other than where the teams you play against are allocated in the 'seeding' way as currently used. A team in Div 1 can be totally different one year to the next, and its conceivable that a team could do badly one year and t...
